This is a very current issue due to a recent law passed by the European Union where all companies will only be able to keep a customer’s record for as long as he or she authorizes.
All companies must prove that they have the technological capacity to delete the data of customers who request to be removed from their databases.
Besides the European Union, the USA is already studying the implementation of a similar law, and surely, very soon, this will also come to Brazil.
